[It's very sad how proud he is that he's figured out his little phone, but that's just one part of modern society that he's got down pat. The other is one that's long overdue, because his shirt is still blood-stained, starting to tear at the seams, and no matter how he tries to save it, it's no use.]
Hello anyone who's listening. I have a little problem that could use solving and I have just enough money to make it worth someone's while. Maybe you can see, but I don't exactly have very nice clothes for these days, hoping that someone could take pity and show me what it is people wear.
[Normal people, not the kind who he's seen around.]
There's some cash in it for you. Maybe a good drink? Whatever you find best, but it only happens after you help me.

Looking to get some cool new kicks or
are you an alien learning how to dress and fit in with earth customs?
cause either way, I have advise.
no subject
Are there really aliens here too? I thought it was just badly dressed people from the future where people want to wear as little as possible.
I'm from the 1860's. Fashion has changed, I think.
no subject
I'm not actually sure about the aliens 100% but I gotta figure, law of averages, this place is like a mess of about a billion different times, locations and universes, odds are there has to be like one alien, right?
1860? Oh damn. Well. You're not wrong.

What I need is something that will not be torn or bloody or awful. If you can be my personal shopper, I will pay for this with beers, after?
no subject
You know what? Normally I'm not much of a shopper but I've literally got nothing else going on so yeah, why not? Free drinks.
So, hey, is your only requirement seriously just something not torn, bloody and gross? No colour preference.
no subject
I mean, I'd like to wear the same colors I've been wearing now. Burgundy, browns, blacks, tans, whites. I don't think that I would look very good in their strange neon things that I have been told are the bright eye-searing colors.
no subject
Yeah, no, stay away from neon unless you got a hell of a lot of swag and can just pull it off. Which, no offence, sounds like you probably can't. So darks, mostly? Gotcha. You opposed to hoodies or are you looking to be like mister formal?

Hey, dude. She's... looking a little worse for wear, but she's in a bar so what do you expect? )
Said you could jus' go naked. No one'll complain.
( Does she look irritable about having to switch to video? Maybe. Or maybe it's something else, but who knows. Her voice is holding some sort of bitter note to it, that's all that can definitely be said. )
no subject
What happened to you? Also, I think I might complain about being naked all the time. It's not exactly a good option.
[He raises a brow and studies the surroundings, giving a mild scoff.] Drinking?
no subject
( KATE...
And wow rude. Are you saying you've never had a bit of bloodshot eyes or general alcohol-fueled dishevelment going on?
But, in response to the question, she just quickly switches the camera to show the half-drank pint in front of her. )
What do you think?
( Obviously )

I don't know what jeans are. T-shirts, are those the things with half a sleeve? They look very comfortable, but not very flattering.
[ And he is, still, a touch of a peacock when it comes to wanting to show off. ]

I'd help you. It's easy, really, you just need a few t-shirts, a jacket, a couple pairs of jeans. I don't need cash for it.
[ He's helping Elizabeth discover music through the ages, he can help Vasquez get some fresh clothes. He's just trying to do good things. ]
no subject
I like the things you're saying so far. Where do we go to get them?
[T-shirts, jackets, jeans. He's seen these things around, knows they can look good without being leather or sparkly or cut up in strange ways. Maybe they won't ever be like what he's used to, but if it gets close, then he's happy.]
no subject
[ Baby doesn't expect to find The Gap in Cadelle, either, even if they do produce the best basic t-shirt packs ever. But he's pretty certain he can find things. After all, Kimberly went shopping for swimsuits before the beach party, so... there must be somewhere. ]
If you're more of a button-down shirts, I'm sure we can find those, too.
no subject
[Why would he ever go to a target to get clothes? Maybe something changed between now and the future, but where you shoot shouldn't be where you go and buy things to wear. Then again, the boy looks like he knows a thing or two about clothes, so Vasquez is ready to listen.]
I want to get more clothes, the things that I like to wear. Button-downs, but vests, pants. Maybe even those simple short-sleeved shirts I see people in. Can you help with that?
no subject
[ One can never have too many white t-shirts. ]
Would you like me to pick you up?
no subject
[He thinks of Reyes and the one he'd ridden in when he'd first arrived. It's a sight faster than a horse, but Vasquez is still an old traditionalist and prefers that, but it's not very easy to find one of those around here.]
Yes. Pick me up, let's do it. I'm in Gamma, you know where that is?

What's Sunday best here?
no subject
For the gentleman or at least men, tailored pressed shirts tucked into fitted trousers. Closed toed shoes, shined. Combed hair. That's all I got. I usually require a few pointers when it comes to dressing.
no subject
[Almost he sort of was, but no need to point that out.]
Why do you need the pointers?
