and now i might not be allowed back unless i find a person to spar with

I know that feeling. Sometimes emotions get the better of you during practice and suddenly you're blowing the punching bag out. I used to to through quite a few before someone found a more solid suitable replacement.

( she's not necessarily good at fighting. she's capable, and decently trained thanks to alex, but hand-to-hand combat against equally capable opponents has never been her strong suit. she needs that practice, especially if she's going to eventually return home. )
