Hey Cadelle!
So I hate using the term PSA, but I guess, when the shoe fits...
I'd just like to remind everyone that if you ever are in need of medical attention, or advice, or anything related to your health, a clinic is open every day at the hospital. You don't need insurance, or an appointment (although you can make one), and it doesn't need to be an emergency, either.
Also, on a related note, boys and girls: the clinic does offer free contraceptives, and I urge you to use them if you are sexually active! Condoms are your friends. Even if you're on the pill, it doesn't protect you from STDs!
However, we also offer Plan B for free, in case of emergency, or an error in judgment. And I'm always happy to discuss other contraceptives with you, should you want to.
That's it! Have fun, everyone, but be responsible!

mainly, this is about safe sex. Pregnancy and sexually transmitted diseases can be prevented by using condoms. And if you are having sex, you should be protected.

Okay. Well - if you ever decide to do so, married or not,
just know that there are multiple ways to prevent pregnancies, and diseases.
would you mind if I asked you a personal question?

What hours are you in? It wouldn't suck to get back on the pill even if just for regulation again...
This was really cool of you to post, thanks for this.

the clinic is open 11-4pm on monday, wednesday, and thursday, so feel free to come in any time then
There are people coming in from all sorts of lives and worlds and times, here, so I felt like it would be helpful for people to know...
no subject
I think that's really awesome. I never really thought about that, but if people came from the past when the culture was really sex-negative, this would be super useful. We should offer like little sex education courses for people that want that sort of information because it's new to them. Or does the clinic also have that already in place? If not, I know that I could probably talk to someone at the women's center to get a class on the schedule if we had a teacher. I'd hate to exclude the men affected by that, though...
no subject
It doesn't have to be just for women, it can be for everyone. We can host something like this at the clinic, it's not like the classes would be massive anyway. Would you want to be involved?

Can we make appointments to see the nurse anyway? You know, to set up plans now that we're unexpected child-free?
no subject
I get so, so frustrating, back home, not being able to say things like that. Free healthcare, sex education, all that good stuff, it's lovely
no appointments needed, you can come by whenever you'd like ;)
What happened with the baby?
no subject
Oh good, glad to hear it. I'll have to stop by sooner than later, then.
He wasn't actually a baby... He was a guy here who got screwed over by that wishing well I kept hearing about.
no subject
oh really? well when i saw him he was really a baby, believe me. Man, that must have been a trip for him.
