man this is embarrassing to admit, but i've never actually been with anyone long enough to worry about things like valentine's day.

i know that it's not a thing here. i don't think so anyway.
but um...

here's a question mostly for the ladies, but guys it's okay for you to answer too...
what's something you'd like your guy to do for you on a special occasion?

besides remembering that is. i think i've got that bit covered.

if this were home, i'd probably say some kind of all inclusive thing for a few days.
go away, sip drinks on the beach.
maybe go jet ski.

have a nice dinner under the stars.
which i guess might be doable here on a smaller scale.

[robbie is of course ignoring the very glaring issue that is that they're possibly from completely different worlds. and that he might actually be dead. but who's sweating the small stuff? not him. nope. not in the least.]

There's a local resort called Serenity Studio that specializes in relaxation retreats. Or you could do a private dinner at the vineyard, in the spirit of the local holiday.

But a night time picnic sounds good, too.

[ Because you know Spencer's memorized the whole directory already, he can just rattle off what attractions there are. He'd also be the last person to suggest using a holiday to bring up residual baggage like, oh, the potential lack of any future whatsoever. ]
