I never really understood the appeal of social media. I sort of still don't, but I'm at least trying to figure it out whereas back home, I couldn't be bothered. Did you, back home? Use social media?

For work. Wastebaskets and Facebook are PI bread and butter.

Private Investigator, that's interesting. Is it as cool as it looks in the movies?

[ A little voice in the back of his head by reflex is telling him to abort mission, but he's willing himself to ignore it because he's trying to be more open about who he is as a person — and creature — with people in this place since it's supposed to be safer and about making genuine connections with others. ]

You must be bored a shit in this place, then, huh?

[ He's embracing the break from having to fight for his life, but someone who is a Private Investigator must be going apeshit with the complete and total lack of conflict he's been observing. People in that line of work can't just turn it on and off when they're on the clock, after all. If Sheriff Stilinski couldn't, he really doubts someone who gets paid even better to really dig their heels into the down and dirty part of it all could, either. ]

I'm sure there's other ways to occupy your time, though, right? Doesn't seem to be any big bads around here for me to fight, so I've found other stuff to do.

I believe monsters are real. They look like people most of the time.

Something tells me you're not that normal if you mean literal monsters and not the term monster meaning terrible piece of human garbage.

But you're right. We're real and we look like humans most of the time. And just like humans there are good ones and bad ones. I fight the bad ones. That's the short story, anyway.
