I haven't been doing very well at being social since I came here. It's admittedly no one's fault but my own. I've always been the quiet sort, studious and the like. I focused very much on school before ...

Well, I was part of a hacker group that caused a lot of trouble. But even then, it was a different sort of situation to be in.

I guess, I'm going the long way to ask a very simple thing.

Would anyone want to go to coffee or something? I would like to get to know more people better.

[ In all honesty, Trenton is a little surprised to receive an answer. She knew her network message had been a bit awkward -- maybe even pathetic -- but she hadn't quite known how to go about it. ]

[ Come time, Felicity has already grabbed a table, a perfectly whisked, latte-arted cup in hand.

By all appearances, Felicity doesn't look like any of the stereotypes out there of what hackers look like. Her blonde hair is pulled up in a pony, her glasses have bright colored frames, and generally, she looks more like an executive secretary than someone who's had her own dangerous, digital history.

But here she is. Eyes glancing up at the door every time a new person comes in, trying to see if there's that hint in his or her eyes that says: I'm meeting someone here. ]

i'm down for some coffee. or do you like pizza? i'm pretty much a huge blaze fan these days. and if you ask me pizza's pretty much one of the best hanging out foods.

I'm not sure I would have described it that way. I just wanted a world where the American Dream was actually possible.

Human interest and activism is another interest there. Sometimes doing the right thing ends up to be something courageous.
