Okay, someone left something very important out of the pitch when selling this place somewhere along the line. Why did nobody tell me I was coming into musical theater city here? I'd have been prepared!

[She's not actually annoyed at all. In fact, there's a huge part of Sally that finds this entire thing hilarious. She was nowhere near prepared to see people bursting into song left and right - or for the itchy tickle in her own throat. And this is, of course, after bursting into her own song, which...really she's not all that ashamed of.

The only odd thing is that she didn't sound like a dying cat, really.

Prepared for a new life...yes...prepared for a new, sudden talent in singing and musical numbers breaking out everywhere - no. And yet she's in gerat spirits because she's pretty much alive again. She's got another chance.]

Is this a normal thing here, or just a special welcome for me? And before anybody answers there's definitely a correct answer out of the two! Or an ideal one anyway. ;p

No, but seriously - normal? Abnormal? Holy shit Sally you brought in way too much weirdness so it's got to explode around you too?

What's the verdict? Because as weird as I am I'm not normally want to sing in stranger's faces. Unless I've been drinking, anyway.

One time the rain made you tell the truth. There's also a weird wishing well in the woods, but you have to be careful what you wish for otherwise it does stuff like turning people into babies.

Oh! Stiles mentioned a werecoyote from wherever it is he's from - I legit don't remember if he actually said where, though. I didn't even know that was a thing until recently, I'd never met a werecoyote or anything, so it's kind of cool that I learned about what you are and then managed to spark up a conversation with you!

Stiles and I are both from Beacon Hills, so yeah, he probably meant me. I'm really the only one he knows.

Yeah, no, it totally was, which is why I've holed up at home. I can sing in my shower and no one else has to hear it. That tends to scratch the itch. At least, for me. Go you! Take it where you can get it,

Yeah, so it happens, but at least it's not the worst. Back home when Things happen, it's the worst, in my opinion. If it isn't one thing, it's another. I'll take whacked out wishing wells any day.

Yeah, well I'm kind of hoping it doesn't last too much longer, because I can't call out of work more than a day or two without falling super far behind. So my fingers are crossed that that's not going to be an issue anyway.

I mean, it's not bad, it's just...chaotic sometimes. It got tiring. I needed a vacation.

Yeah, being behind is always exhausting, because then you have to play catch up. I'm teaching organic chemistry at the university.

Yeah, it's nice. You'll like it, especially if you can get past the occasional weirdness. ...like the singing.

Well, the singing isn't too bad so far, so I'd say I'm probably pretty well suited for this place. I'm kind of weird to begin with, anyway.

Exactly, because it's daunting as hell. Thank you! Well, anybody can be good at chemistry with the right teacher, enough interest, and some hard work. But you have to be interested to excel, I feel like.
If you actually do have interest in it and want to learn, you could always take my class. It's not like it matters if you don't do well here, you know?

I think, actually, most of us here are "kind of weird to begin with" to be honest. So, at least you're in good company.

You know, I'd actually love to take some classes here. I was working on my masters degree back home before I died and I loved learning and school even if I totally steered clear of certain subjects for whatever reason I found at the time. Plus, you seem cool in my book, so if nothing else it might be a different view of chemistry.

I'll definitely take that! Good company can make all the difference.

When are your classes, by the way? And is there a specific section number, or anything, that I need - or can I just request Professor Caitlin?

Oh, I have a few a day on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday; it depends on which focus you want to take. One is for nursing and medical students and the other is for chemistry majors. There's a schedule online, if you check the university's website, once you know which you want. Organic is for chem majors, Organic and Inorganic is for the med/nursing students. Then just call the school or go over there and register and your'e good :) If you get confused, or you don't care which, you can always specify Dr. Snow and they'll help you out. I'm not technically a professor, so...they'd probably be confused if you called me one haha.
