Okay, someone left something very important out of the pitch when selling this place somewhere along the line. Why did nobody tell me I was coming into musical theater city here? I'd have been prepared!
[She's not actually annoyed at all. In fact, there's a huge part of Sally that finds this entire thing hilarious. She was nowhere near prepared to see people bursting into song left and right - or for the itchy tickle in her own throat. And this is, of course, after bursting into her own song, which...really she's not all that ashamed of.
The only odd thing is that she didn't sound like a dying cat, really.
Prepared for a new life...yes...prepared for a new, sudden talent in singing and musical numbers breaking out everywhere - no. And yet she's in gerat spirits because she's pretty much alive again. She's got another chance.]
Is this a normal thing here, or just a special welcome for me? And before anybody answers there's definitely a correct answer out of the two! Or an ideal one anyway. ;p
No, but seriously - normal? Abnormal? Holy shit Sally you brought in way too much weirdness so it's got to explode around you too?
What's the verdict? Because as weird as I am I'm not normally want to sing in stranger's faces. Unless I've been drinking, anyway.
[Yeah...she probably is way too jovial for all of this, but she can't help it. Hard to be in a bad mood when you're her. And getting another chance, y'know!]

@malia }
[Welcome to Cuddle City, where sometimes the rain makes you tell the truth.]

[She doesn't regret anything, but she can't quite quash the curiosity either. What kind of weird are we talking about her - because she'll either fit right in or this place is going to give home a legit run for it's money.]
no subject
[No really, that actually happened to her poor friend named Baby.]
no subject
And turning people into babies? That sounds a little like a bad acid trip or something!
[Still not scared. IS it bad that she's kind of excited? Sally's never been about a dull life - or at least not since coming back into herself, into her own, anyway. Not since realizing how great being alive is either. This isn't exactly what she had in mind, but still...]
no subject
[She really wouldn't, it was terrible.]
Actually, he had a bad encounter with a wishing well.
no subject
Well the two sound pretty similar anyway. Careful what you wish for and all...

Most of those people are werewolves, though, to tell you the truth.
no subject
[See? She's not super defying expectations here. And since Sally just came out with it, it's probably safe.]

[Her mom doesn't count.]

Kind of cool that I've managed to talk to you both without even realizing it. So are werecoyotes a bit more rare or something?
no subject
[Because, unfortunately, most of them are sociopaths.]
@c.snow
I'm Caitlin.
no subject
Sally, nice to hear from ya Caitlin. What sort of weird have you been through here before this?
no subject
Likewise, Sally.
Well, there was the wishing well that actually granted wishes, but like...messed them up, kind of...
no subject
In a 'watch what you wish for' kind of way? Or like turning wishes on their head ala 'go home wishing well you're drunk'?
no subject
...kind of both? But more the latter.
no subject
Well, at least I've got a fair warning on the anticts of my new home. I'll take that as something.
no subject
right?
Yeah, so it happens, but at least it's not the worst. Back home when Things happen, it's the worst, in my opinion. If it isn't one thing, it's another. I'll take whacked out wishing wells any day.
no subject
Oh, really? Home, for you, doesn't sound too great then. Not that mine was amazingly better than this place, or anything, but still.
no subject
I mean, it's not bad, it's just...chaotic sometimes. It got tiring. I needed a vacation.
no subject
Ah, gotcha, well....this is a pretty good vacation spot from what I see.
no subject
Yeah, it's nice. You'll like it, especially if you can get past the occasional weirdness. ...like the singing.
no subject
Well, the singing isn't too bad so far, so I'd say I'm probably pretty well suited for this place. I'm kind of weird to begin with, anyway.
no subject
If you actually do have interest in it and want to learn, you could always take my class. It's not like it matters if you don't do well here, you know?
I think, actually, most of us here are "kind of weird to begin with" to be honest. So, at least you're in good company.
no subject
I'll definitely take that! Good company can make all the difference.
no subject
Well, by all means, consider yourself officially invited to take my class if you like.
If you end up not liking it, I promise not to be offended if you drop the class.
