Okay, here's the thing, I know I'm about to break the most sacred rule of all time and that is a pretty amateur move on my part but here's the thing - I'm gonna talk about fight club.

[He holds his hands up defensively. He knows, he knows. It's UNFORGIVABLE but he kind of has to. They got a location, they had stuff setting up and the lighting was already dope as hell. Seriously. Four different settings. Four. Why does a fight club need mood lighting? Who knows! The point is, it has it.]

Specifically the one I'm making. We're making. People are making but mostly I'm doing a lot of the techy stuff. Trying to get it all set. It's like a place to spar, work out and do some high stakes drills. It's going to be real fun, I have so many ideas.

No spoilers but... [He leans in, mock whispering.] Lasers.

[There may not be lasers. Someone may stop him. Someone may not.]

The gym is kind of universal so, you know, no abilities, powers or magical items will not work within the confines of this building but hey, that's more of a challenge and you can work on stuff you've never needed or want to improve without getting to reliant on powers. Which sometimes we do, let's face it. It's so easy to.

[Whatever. He waves his hand in dismissal, trying to get back to the point of this. Yes, there was a point. Somewhere here. In this ramble.]

Basically, what I'm here to ask about is contributions. You wanna contribute anything to this super rad fight club? I don't know what off the top of my head. Anything. Everything. Equipment, tech, a disco ball, maybe towels? Whatever! Come on down. Talk to me. I can also give you guys whatever info you need about it. [There's a beat as he looks off into the distance. Hmm. Well.] I mean, maybe.

Also, props on the ghostbuster packs because they were awesome. Pretty sure that was your handiwork and I am such a fan. Whatever you're working on, totally in because I need this.

But, lasers... could be a quick way to end things way too soon if you're really able to dampen abilities and powers. Just saying.

Oh yeah, those packs were my babies. Glad you liked them! That was literally every childhood fantasy I'd ever had come true.

[Sometimes he just chills out around the house wearing one that he kept. No big deal. Making a sandwich and pretending to be Venkmen. Whatevers. Living the dream.]

You wanna get your fight on? Totally gonna be the place for that. [There's a pause as he considers her words.] And yeah, no, the lasers are definitely like a fantasy more than a reality at this point so you probably have no reason to worry about them right now.

I was just disappointed I couldn't do them real justice by wearing a jumpsuit, but they definitely did their job.

[ At least he knew Ghostbusters. She was still just a little sore that Kimberly had no idea who Venkamn even was. ]

Yes, yes I do. It's been too long. [ Retirement or not, Buffy was starting to feel the itch. She could still do it recreationally, right? No harm in that. Okay so next Halloween? I'll have more warning, I will get on that and we can do it like a full cosplay type thing. Costume, names, we can even plan our quips.

[ Buffy may be clapping and bouncing a little in her seat in excitement. Yes, for a brief moment she looked like the cheerleader she had once been. But c'mon! He wasn't the only one wanting to live out a Ghostbusters fantasy. It had cooler toys than her Slayer gig. ]
