This place seems to be a bit different. Still the same consequences if one were to step out of line, but a different sort of reaction you could say. Easier to hide in the nooks and the crannies about. ]

I've a question for the wonderful citizens of this cuddly city? What sort of familiarity do you have with magic? Light and dark. Good or bad. I'm curious as to what you lot know?

[ If they know about the Dark One and his weakness. He'd prefer to keep that bit under wraps. Excalibur isn't here and he'd rather it stay away. He's here to cut himself away from the bloody sword. ]

I guess that depends on what you would consider magic. I'm familiar with a lot of things that most normal people would consider magic, but aren't actually magic. Does that count?

We mostly call it supernatural...because it is. Magic implies an unexplained or mystical sort of element, I feel like.

Not completely unexplained. Not in my realm. Magic is something that always comes with a price. Light or dark. There's a toll.

Though I suppose we also have an element of what you might call supernatural.

Not really. Asking for people's opinions of it from their world. Run ins. What it's like. Whatever they'd care to share really. I'm not picky.

Where I come from, power comes with a price, whether you use your power for good or evil. I imagine it's not quite the same, from the sounds of things, but the general concept makes sense to me. I honestly don't know a lot about the 'magic' in my world; the Druids don't exactly show and tell.

Mind reading, object manipulation, thought manipulation, some say that stronger dark force users can create lightning from their fingertips.

There is more, I'm sure. But it is not something that is widely used. Only four people are known to possess the power still, to date.

Do these druids possess different types of magic?

Trolls. Beasts. Giants. Witches. Just a few examples.

[ Object manipulation sounds familiar. He can do that. So can Regina and Gold. Most magic users can. He hasn't heard of one that can manipulate thought that much. Potions could erase memories. ]

Lightning? Not fireballs?

I'll be honest, I don't know a whole lot about their magic. They're a very secretive people, but they can do some pretty incredible things. I know that much.

[ The Nemeton becoming a literal beacon for the supernatural being one of those things. Never mind what it did for Jennifer. That magic had come with a hefty price she hadn't minded paying, since the blood spilled hadn't had to be her own. ]

Beasts sounds fairly generalized but the rest are real where you come from, huh?
That's interesting. I'm used to the supernatural but those seem more stuff of legends and teenage girls with tarot cards and too much time on their hands, where I come from.

Many different kinds. Simpler to use a broader term rather then list them all.

I can assure you they aren't just of legends. They're quite real. Dragons as well. Well, dragon, but I don't want to be nitpicky.

I guess even I can learn new things every day. I'm used to being the person who breaks someone's brain with reality. It's weird being on the other end of that, actually. Not in a bad way, but just saying.
