( Daisy Johnson does not look like a person who is having a good day.

In fact, it's safe to say she looks decidedly the opposite. That might be because of the sopping wet stretch of her black t-shirt, the stains on her jeans, or the fact that her hair is plastered unattractively to her face as she leans against the alley wall outside of Deja Brew. She's tried wringing out the remaining iced coffee but so far, so not good. )

You know, maybe all the good vibes and cuddling has people all blissed out and clumsy, I don't know. But this is definitely not the first "accident" - ( She lifts a hand, moves her fingers in the signal for quotations, her arms now very obviously all gauntleted up. She's not making that mistake twice. ) - I've been involved in, the last couple of days. Or maybe, just maybe, the drinks around here suck.

( A pause, a sigh. She should just take this like a champ but she's also so very done with feeling like the bad guy. ) But just in case everyone really did have their brains rattled out of their heads the other day, I - ( Pointing to herself. ) -- did not have anything to do with the earthquake. I was trying to help. ( Admittedly, a girl with earthquake powers in the middle of a natural disaster, kind of sketch. But she's fed up of smelling like a dumpster. It's not getting her any dates. ) And if you don't believe me, well, the high school revenge is getting kind of old. Switch it up a bit.

Um. ( is that a rhetorical question? it kind of sounds like a rhetorical question. ) No? A spill would be an accident, but it doesn't sound like that was an accident.

See, that's what's confusing me too. I keep hearing that word though - accident. Mostly mumbled when people are barging past me.

( She's being heavily sarcastic, but it's helping her mood. Kind of. )

I'm fine, I've had worse. It's just the whole having worse makes me not want a repeat performance here.

Once could be an accident, I guess. But if it's happened multiple times, and if people think you're responsible for the earthquake — ( kara's opinion on that as a possibility could not be any more obvious, as her eyes roll so hard they might permanently detach from their sockets ) — it's probably not so accidental.

Do you need a change of clothes?

I'm really trying to be the bigger woman here. ( Daisy pinches her nose between thumb and forefinger, suddenly exhausted. ) I can get it? Tensions are high. People have lost homes, it sucks. But I'm here for a reason like everyone else.

( Besides, why would she cause that level of destruction? Why be so obvious about it? And why fuck with her own shit in the process? )

I'm pretty sure I do. But now I'm like, do I try and find a place that might be open and risk running in to even more people who hate me, or do I even want to change when this is like the fourth drink I've had poured on me. Where are people getting these from anyway? Surely iced coffee is not part of the renovation process.

( a vague gesture over her shoulder to unpacked boxes on kitchen counters indicates just how immediate that 'just moved' really had been. as in, within the last twenty-four hours. but, on the plus side, it was a furnished unit with a washer and dryer. )

At least nobody here will throw iced coffee on you. Actually, I don't think I even have any coffee yet. ( but... ) I do have donuts though!

( That's ... surprisingly sweet. She's going to have to get used to that, considering Cadelle's speciality. ) You wouldn't mind? I know that's kind of an imposition but I'm really done with this day.

( And donuts sound really good, actually. )

( why would she? oliver was out doing oliver queen things — probably working out, if she knew him, or pounding his misgivings about star city into a punching bag or the rubber surfaces of the running tracks. he'd be back later, but kara could certainly use the company now. besides, maybe this would count as a good deed in some way, and opportunities to earn a little cuddle credit were never a bad thing in her book. )

I'm pretty sure the washer's already hooked up, and if not, we'll figure it out, right? I'll send you the address... ( a squint at the username and... ) Quake?

It's Daisy, actually. Quake's my -- ( Superhero identity? No, she's not really hidden who she is. A nickname given to her? ) I don't know, I think it's kind of dumb but it's what I ended up with anyway.

( Supergirl should commiserate with her one day down the line. )
