1. Who's moved?
2. Anyone here play sports?
( Because why give any context or explanation to the questions you ask to the network at large, right? )

audio; UN: forthedefense
2. I've been known to try every so often. You?
audio switch bc sure.
( Or, if she can convince a friend, a race. )
What's the last one you tried?

I think quite a few people have movedthe apartments are very small, and it was getting a little crowded
no subject
You included?
( She's just fishing to see how people found places, costs etc. )
no subject
it wasn't too bad, but most of the nicer places were a little expensive for just one person
no subject
( If affordable living means cockroaches, well, she'll just have to get a job. )
no subject
( though kate can't see it, kara is definitely wrinkling her nose at the concept. what kind of magical city would want people to move into dirty apartments with bugs? )
is that something you were expecting?
no subject
It's a city. Got to be some dirt hidden under the carpet.
( So to speak. She didn't have enough time in Eudio to see if the same was true there, and didn't even try to find a new place, but she suspects the same of it. Anything that's too shiny has to have something underneath it all, right? )
no subject
but in my experience, places like this seem to be true to their word
i don't think there's anything even close to roaches levels of dirty here
no subject
( She wonders. She and Will were in Eudio before. But she didn't get that long to know everyone who was there. Maybe there's others who also moved here when they were given the chance. )
no subject
it wasn't as enthusiastic about the "good deeds" aspect but it was similar
were you at home before this? wherever home is for you, i mean?
no subject
Similar place as well. Wasn't there all that long, mind. Place shut things down so I came here.
you're too kind madam
...I can't rightly remember to be honest.
not a word that's often used for her
You a fighter or summat?
( Kate, there are other people who do those things for reasons other than combat... )
kind or madam?
[And this is a lie. So.]
Are you an athlete?
Well. Both.
Erm. When I were a kid.
( Not so much now. )
Keep at it for my health.
( A lie. And maybe not the smoothest. )
no subject
( she didn't realize there were so many people here who had come along. maybe she hadn't done as good a job of exploring eudio as she'd thought. )
where were you before this?
no subject
( Well, to be fair, Kate was kind of... a disaster. And mostly failing at the whole make friends thing there.
... Not that much has changed, to be honest. )
no subject
well, not just me, obviously
there were quite a few of us that i knew that came here
( maybe they should have a support group. the jilted ex-citizens of eudio, meeting every other wednesday at 4:00 PM. refreshments provided after the assembly. )
no subject
Only knew of one other person so far.
Should have made this an ad for people who were there.
( Theoretically, she should have been all about getting off so easy, but it felt so easy that she began to wonder if Eudio would screw her over. "Marc's alive, but only in the sense that you're sent back to right before he dies, unable to do anything". Something like that. )
Variety *is* the spice of life~!
I think we all were as children.
[Rowdy, fearless things. Matt laughs a little in amusement at the thought.]
Is there anything in particular you were interested in?
truer words etc
Haven't played volleyball in a while.
( She's been to the beach here, and even back in Eudio, but there's been few chances for her to get together a group for that. )
Footie, either.
( She sort of misses team sports, actually. )
no subject
Yeah, I can safely say I'm sure I haven't played volleyball since grade school. Football on the other hand, that's something I miss.
no subject
Could always start a team.
no subject
[Hobbies. Everybody has to have em.]
So. Football or volleyball or... league of sports depending on season?
no subject
S'pose there's always cricket. ( Kate you've never played cricket. )
no subject
[Liar, liar, liar...]
Why not rugby?
no subject
... Could do. Mean, all depends how many people want to do this.
( Can't exactly do many of these if it's just the two of them. )
