[Valkyrie wasn't blind, last she checked, not even by half, and frankly there wasn't a damn thing about Thor that wasn't attractive, even grudgingly including the throne he hadn't brought along with him. It was almost infuriating, actually. Someone had forgotten to include enough flaws in his forging. Or possibly he'd just buffed them out over the years. While she would hardly claim to know him well, she knows he's exactly what Asgard needs. What it's needed.
But right now, she'd rather not think about Asgard, about history, about anything more than the moment, and that rakish smile that seems to be all for her. For some reason his admiration actually means something to her. Damn it.
